Newcastle Falcons are hosting a benefit evening in support of Scott Wilson, the prop-forward who was forced to retire from rugby this year at the age of just 24.
The dinner will be held on Thursday January 31 at Kingston Park Stadium’s West Stand concourse, with Newcastle Falcons players helping to provide the entertainment on what promises to be a fun-filled evening.
Scott played 80 first team games for the Falcons after coming through the club’s academy, the England Saxons prop suffering a career-ending injury during the Premiership semi-final against Exeter Chiefs last May.
Newcastle Falcons and the local rugby fraternity are helping rally round one of their own in the sport’s best traditions, with the benefit dinner including an auction, raffle and other fundraising opportunities.
Tickets are priced at £40 per person or £350 for a table of 10, and include a three-course dinner plus entertainment, with arrival from 7pm.
