Nuffield Health Support Winter Touch League

Touch Rugby is a fast, exciting, enjoyable form of the game involving no contact, and can be played by both males and females, young and old.

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player, touch rugby is a fun way to get fit during the winder evenings while spending time with friends.

Falcons Community are delighted to extend the club’s official partnership with Nuffield Health, to help promote further participation in health and wellbeing activity.

Alex Seward of Nuffield Health Newcastle Hospital said: “Touch rugby is a great way for everyone to improve their health and fitness, and we are delighted to support the Falcons Winter Touch Rugby League this year.”

Team entries are priced at £175, which includes five weeks week of fixtures on the main pitch at Kingston Park Stadium.

Starting at 6.30pm on February 2, the league runs once every fourth Wednesday evening on the following dates: February 2, March 2, March 30, April 27 and May 25.

Team entries are welcome from any standard, aged 16+, male and female. The six-a-side game is made up of 15 players with rolling subs, and each team must contain a minimum of two members of each gender on the pitch at any one time.
