October coaching camps in full swing
As youngsters throughout the region enjoy their half term holiday, Newcastle Falcons’ October coaching camps are in full swing, this year utilising the club’s main pitch as well as other grounds throughout the region.
The Falcons Community Foundation run a number of coaching camps throughout the October half term break, but this is the first year camps have been able to use the new pitch.
Camp participants enjoy two days of rugby coaching from qualified Falcons Community Foundation coaches as well as a free match ticket and exclusive t-shirt.
Meanwhile first team players including Zach Kibirige are also on hand to visit coaching camps and provide their support and guidance to the Falcons of the future.
Alongside the Kingston Park coaching camp, another camp has been running in Penrith throughout Monday and Tuesday while camps are also due to take place in Hartlepool on Wednesday and Thursday and in Sunderland on Thursday and Friday.
Meanwhile the Falcons’ brand new kicking camp gets underway at Kingston Park tomorrow. This one day intensive kicking coaching camp will be player-led by members of the Falcons first team squad.
