Oliver and Redshaw start for England U20s
Newcastle Falcons’ Jacob Oliver and Ben Redshaw start for England Under-20s against Ireland Under-20s on Friday night, with club-mates Ben Douglas and Oliver Spencer on the bench.
The 7.15pm kick-off at Bath’s Recreation Ground is live on the BBC iPlayer, with Oliver (left of picture) packing down at hooker and Redshaw starting at full-back.
England have won all three of their games after beating Italy, Wales and Scotland, with head coach Mark Mapletoft saying: “England and Ireland have had some battles in recent times and this fixture is one that I’m sure our fans have been anticipating since it was announced last year.
“The support we received in our last outing at the Rec was second to none, and the fact we’re expecting an even bigger crowd this weekend only adds to what is promises to be a memorable occasion.”
