Ollie Leatherbarrow re-signs with Newcastle Falcons
Back-row workhorse Ollie Leatherbarrow is the latest player to renew terms with Newcastle Falcons, signing a one-year deal.
The 23-year-old has made 20-first-team appearances in two seasons since joining from Exeter Chiefs, with the former Scotland Under-20s star scoring his first Gallagher PREM try on the final day of the season at Leicester Tigers.
“Ollie has really developed over the last year, and I’m looking forward to seeing that progress continue,” said director of rugby, Steve Diamond.
“He’s a real grafter who is great in our squad environment, and he has earned this contract through his hard work and positive attitude.”
Leatherbarrow said: “I’m delighted to have re-signed with the club for another year.
“I’ve really enjoyed my time here so far – especially last season.
“I’m looking forward to a new era at the club, and am excited to push on for more opportunities this year.”
