Palframan banned following red card against Gloucester Rugby
The South African born prop was sent off 16 minutes into Friday’s 17-12 win at Kingston Park against Gloucester Rugby.
His case was heard by an independent disciplinary panel chaired by Martin Picton sitting with Guy Lovgreen and Mitch Read.
Palframan received a red card for dangerous tackling, contrary to World Rugby Law 9.13, accepted foul play and received a three match ban. This will be reduced to two weeks if the player completes the World Rugby Coaching Intervention Programme.
Palframan will miss the following games:
1. 15.04 v Harlequins
2. 21.04 v Northampton Saints
3. 06.05 v Sale Sharks *(Removed on successful completion of World Rugby Coaching Intervention Programme)*
