Newcastle Falcons are back in action as the 2019/20 season gets its first home game, Doncaster Knights visiting in the Championship Cup (KO 3pm)
The Falcons made a winning start to the new season last weekend as they took a well-earned 21-8 win over Jersey Reds, and will be looking to make a good first impression in front of their home crowd.
It’s a double-header day of rugby too with rugby league stable-mates Newcastle Thunder taking on Doncaster RLFC in the Betfred League 1 promotion play-offs at 12 noon, with Falcons fans welcome to attend using their ticket.

**Match tickets** – Supporters are urged to buy in advance and save on full match-day prices while avoiding any purchasing queues on match day.

**Newcastle Thunder v Doncaster RLFC** – Our rugby league stable-mates have enjoyed a successful 2019 season and this Sunday will be striving to reach the League 1 promotion play-off final by beating Doncaster.
Kicking off at 12 noon, all those in possession of a ticket (season or match) for Falcons v Doncaster can attend free of charge. Supporters will watch from the East side of Kingston Park, with access on a general admission basis to unreserved standing and seating areas.
**Getting here** – Stadium car parking for Sunday’s match will be available on the day priced at £10 per vehicle and on a first-come-first-served basis.
To improve access to the stadium on match-days, there is now a two-lane entry system as cars enter via the West Stand gate, with the left-hand lane to be used for seasonal car park pass holders and the right-hand lane to be used by holders of match-by-match passes.
Kingston Park Stadium is well served by local public transport services, with Stagecoach’s X47 service from Newcastle city centre stopping opposite the ground on Windsor Way and Tyne & Wear Metro services on the airport line calling at Kingston Park and Bank Foot (approx 7mins walk away).
**Stadium access** – Supporters arriving early to watch Newcastle Thunder v Doncaster RLFC should enter the stadium via the East Stand turnstiles.
Supporters arriving after 13:30 must enter the stadium via the stand for which they hold tickets to gain entry. Kingston Park Stadium’s ticket scanners will have restrictions in place which will only allow tickets for that stand to be scanned.
Kingston Park Stadium will be operating enhanced security procedures around Sunday’s game, including bag searches. If you would usually bring a bag to the game please consider whether this is something you really need.
If you do need to bring a bag please be aware that it will be subject to search from security staff and be sure to allow extra time for getting into the ground.
**Bars** – Supporters bar facilities are available in the South, East and West stand.
**The CAST** – Our enthusiastic group of volunteers return for season 2019/20 and will once again be on hand to point you in the right direction and improve your match-day experience.
The volunteers aim to bring knowledge, passion for service and most importantly fun to every home match and to help our spectators have a stand-out experience whenever they visit Kingston Park Stadium. They can easily be spotted in their bright blue uniforms and are ready to assist with any enquiries you might have on Sunday.
**Food & Drink** – Supporters can enjoy a wide range of food and drink options at the ground on Sunday, with stadium bars, kiosks, Angel Fish, 72 Angels & Burgers, Angel Street Food and Posh Box outlets all open.
Post-match, Full Time Feed takes over from Curry Corner, with the bill of fare expanding beyond the curries that have been so well received in recent seasons. Remaining in situ in the 1877 Bar and serving approximately 30 minutes after the full-time whistle, pop by and see what is on offer to tantalise your taste buds this week.
**Season ticket vouchers** – As thanks for their loyal support, season ticket members who opted to receive their credit for the 2019/20 season by way of a voucher can start using their credit as of this Sunday’s game. Supporters should refer to the letter enclosed within their season ticket packs for full details on where and how it can be used, while in the bars, serving points will be clearly signposted for supporters.
**Pre-match talk in and player meet & greet** – Fans have two opportunities to get the thoughts of members of the Falcons playing squad ahead of kick-off on Sunday in both the East and West Stands.
In the 1877 Justin Lockwood will be joined by members of the non-playing squad for a pre-match Q&A from 14:15 while over in the West Stand concourse, additional players will be present in the Wooden Spoon Corner helping to sign up new members to the Junior Falcons fan club, sign autographs and chat to fans from 14:00.
**Post-match entertainment** – Extend your day beyond the on-field action with a wide array of entertainment across the stadium. On the West Stand concourse, the ever-popular post-match DJ will be playing, while in the 1877, fans will be able to hear from Sunday’s man of the match around 17:30.
**Merchandise** – A new season means new merchandise to stock up on, and with 2019/20 marking the start of our exciting new partnership with Macron there are a host of must-have items in store already, including replica home and away strips.
Merchandise will be available to purchase from the main club shop in the East Stand, while supporters in the South and West stands will also be able to purchase items from the retail stations located within these stands’ concourses.
Supporters can also make use of our click and collect service, ordering in advance online and having your items ready for collection ahead of the game.
**Foundation Flutter** – Offering supporters the chance to win the Falcons Man of the Match shirt or corporate hospitality at the next home fixture, tickets are available from sellers around the ground from 11:30, priced at £1 per ticket. The draw will be made at half time of the Newcastle Falcons v Doncaster Knights game.
**Pitch access** – Supporters will be welcome to take to the field after the completion of the game against the Knights, however, entry will be delayed until the pitch is cleared of players and coaches. Please make your way to the West Stand entry points if you wish to go onto the pitch, and follow all instructions from safety stewards.
