Pepper shortlisted for RPA award

Newcastle Falcons’ Guy Pepper has been nominated for the RPA’s Men’s Young Player of the Year.

The 21-year-old featured 18 times for the Falcons throughout all competitions in 2023/24, scoring two tries.

Pepper also set a joint all-time Premiership record for the most amount of tackles in a single game, completing 34 against Saracens in Round 10.

Harrogate born, Pepper was also announced as the club’s player and players’ player of the season as well as receiving a nomination for the Gallagher Premiership breakthrough player of the season.

The winner will be announced at the RPA Awards ceremony on Wednesday May 29.
