Pivotal weekend for Newcastle Thunder

The 3pm kick-off comes at a pivotal time of the season for coach Mick Mantelli’s side as they aim to secure a place in the top eight play-offs from Kingstone Pres League One.

Last weekend’s 32-14 triumph at Coventry leaves Thunder poised to strike for play-off qualification, with victory in their penultimate regular-season game key to their hopes of progression.

Tickets are priced £12 for adults, £10 for concessions, £5 for Under 16s and £3 for Under 12s by calling 0871 226 6060, with Sunday’s pre-game entertainment including a trio of curtain-raisers.

They are Cramlington Rockets v West Leeds u12s at 11:30am, Cramlington Rockets v West Leeds u14s at 12:30pm then Durham Tigers v West Leeds at 1:30pm.

Parking at the stadium is free on the day, with turnstiles and other entry points will be open from 1:30pm. Ticket holders are welcome to watch and support participants of this week’s community pre-match games, and can enter via the Tap and Tackle bar from 10:30am.
