Alex Hearle joined Newcastle Falcons from Gloucester in the summer of 2024.

Able to play wing or centre, the 6 foot 1 back came through Shrewsbury College and into Worcester Warriors’ academy, making his Gallagher Premiership debut for the Warriors in 2020.

Hearle played 37 games for Worcester prior to their administration during the 2022-23 campaign, and was quickly snapped up by Gloucester.

He made 20 appearances for the Cherry and Whites, starting in their victorious Premiership Rugby Cup final in 2023-24 and scoring against Newcastle in his final game for Gloucester in May 2024.
