Ethan Grayson joined Newcastle Falcons from San Diego Legion in September 2024, initially on a short-term contract during the Major League Rugby off-season.

A former England Under-20s international who came through Northampton Saints’ academy, Grayson made five senior appearances for the Saints and also shone for Championship side Bedford Blues on dual-registration.

The son of former England fly-half Paul Grayson, Ethan’s 6 foot 3 frame and physicality have seen him lining up in midfield as well as in the No.10 shirt.

His first half-season with the Falcons brought one try in nine games, and he even slotted the club’s first drop-goal in more than 12 years!

Ending the 2024-25 back in San Diego, Grayson returned to Kingston Park for the 2025-26 campaign.
