PORT OF TYNE PROGRAMME
20 classes in ten schools throughout South Shields are benefitting from coaching by the Community Foundation with each school receiving the following:-
1 x hour of tag per class rugby x 5 weeks
1 x Falcons player visit
1 x mascot visit
1 x teacher resource pack left in each school
1 x teacher education day within travelling distance to ensure delivery in school continues
balls and tags left in the school
1 x tag festival at local club (Westoe RFC) to ensure transition into regular activity
The Kingston Park club are currently launching the initiative in schools across the area including Cleadon Village, Sea View, Harton Primary, St Bedes RCVA, Ridgeway Primary, Forest View Primary, Hadrians Primary, SS Peter and Paul RC Primary and Marine Park Primary as well as more!
