Premiership Rugby Cup fixtures announced

Newcastle Falcons face home-and-away clashes against northern rivals Sale Sharks, Doncaster Knights and Caldy in the 2024-25 Premiership Rugby Cup.

The 20-team competition sees five groups of four, with the five group winners and three best runners-up progressing through to the quarter-finals.

Newcastle open their tournament account at Caldy’s Paton Field on Saturday November 2 (2pm) before hosting Doncaster Knights on Sunday November 10 (3pm).

Round three sees an all-Premiership encounter on Friday November 22 when Sale Sharks visit Kingston Park (7.45pm), with the remaining three pool games being played in the new year.

Saturday February 1 is when the Falcons will travel to Doncaster Knights (2.30pm), followed by a home date with Caldy on Sunday February 9 (3pm).

The group stage comes to a climax when Newcastle travel to Sale Sharks on Sunday February 16 (3pm), with the knock-out rounds seeing the quarter-finals on the weekend of March 1, semi-finals on the weekend of March 8 and the final the weekend of March 15.

Individual match tickets will go on pre-sale on September 24.
