Rub shoulders with Legends at Aspers
Rugby fans in Newcastle will have the opportunity to rub shoulders with some of the greatest players to have turned out in a Falcons shirt on Thursday, as Aspers Casino Newcastle hosts the official pre match party.
Taking place in the Sports Bar at the city centre venue, players including Matt Burke, Cory Harris, Jamie Noon will be present ahead of the big game at Kingston Park the day after allowing fans to meet the heroes of yesteryear.
The pre match reception starts from 19:30 on Thursday evening and is free to attend, however places are limited with admittance on a first come first served basis.
Speaking about the reception, Falcons Rugby World Cup Events Officer Andy Buist said: “the Legends Welcome on Thursday will enable rugby fans in the city to spend a bit more time with the players.”
“We only have a small window of when the players are here, so to be able to offer the chance to catch up with some of the former Falcons taking to the field on Friday.”
