Director of rugby Dean Richards is well on the way to assembling a highly-competitive playing group, with a number of contract renewals announced in addition to eight new signings.
Players announced so far include French centre Maxime Mermoz (Leicester Tigers), Fijian centre Josh Matavesi (Ospreys), Canadian try machine DTH van der Merwe (Scarlets), Championship player of the season nominee Ryan Burrows (Yorkshire Carnegie), foraging flanker Gary Graham (Jersey), attacking scrum-half Sam Stuart (Richmond), dynamic prop Sami Mavinga (Lyon) and bright fly-half prospect Joel Matavesi (Redruth).
