Schedule of events in Kingston Park marquee

As a club we have looked carefully at events we were approached to hold, and made a decision that we would look to support events from a charitable and community angle rather than a commercial perspective.

The first event we have is something brand new to not just the North East, but to the UK!

On October 30 we are hosting a charity Halloween Ball in aid of the Graham Wylie Foundation and Newcastle Rugby Foundation.

The Graham Wylie Foundation is quite unique in that 100% of its donations go directly to good causes in the North East, as Graham himself picks up all of the staffing and running costs. This evening is on track to raise in excess of £100,000 on the night. The event will run between 6pm and midnight.

On Friday November 1 we are hosting the Living North Awards, which is a celebration of local businesses and recognising what they put into the community. This event showcases the best the North East has to offer, and is also raising money for the ‘Daft as a Brush’ charity. The event runs between 6pm and midnight

Saturday November 2, as well as being a home game for the Falcons, is also the Rugby World Cup final.

One of our longstanding players, Alex Tait, has been granted a testimonial year, and has chosen to raise money for three charities, Children North East, Restart Rugby and the Alzheimer’s Society.

He has decided to host a breakfast event, screening the final live. This is a family event, with the tickets being sold through local rugby clubs affiliated to the Falcons. The event will run from 7.30am until our game kicks off at 1pm

The three additional events we are holding this year in the marquee are all ticketed and pre-sold, so numbers are restricted.

The Living North Christmas Fair will then run from November 7-10, 10am until 5pm each day.

The marquee de-rig will then start on Monday November 11.

We do take the views of our local residents seriously. Any queries or concerns from residents should be directed to 07764 933 302.
