Schools series continues with Yarm vs Newcastle School for Boys
The Newcastle Falcons schools series will continue this November at Kingston Park ahead of the biggest game of the season so far.
Following the success of the RGS vs Durham game earlier this season, the next schools game to take place at Kingston Park will see Yarm School face Newcastle School for Boys ahead of the Falcons’ Aviva Premiership game against Gloucester on Friday 21st November.
The match will feature the first teams from each school, the captains of which – Danny Gray and Tom Lawson – also play for the Falcons Academy.
Both schools are very enthusiastic about playing the game at such a large venue and are hopeful that their fans will help add to the atmosphere of this big Friday night Aviva Premiership match.
As part of their game, the teams will enjoy many of the perks of a professional rugby game, including professional match day photography from the Falcons official photographer and a PA system with match announcements. The teams will also be presented with a commemorative plaque at half time to mark the occasion of the match.
Taking place ahead of the Falcons’ biggest game of the season so far, the club is looking to both schools to help Bring the Noise, increasing crowds and atmosphere and helping the Falcons in their attempt to set a world record for the loudest club rugby crowd!
With the schools game kicking off at 5.15pm, students from both schools will be able to watch their classmates in action before enjoying discounted tickets to the Aviva Premiership game afterwards. Falcons fans are also welcome to head to the ground earlier and take in both games of rugby at no extra cost.
