Seven Falcons picked for England age-group camps
A total of three Falcons will take part in the Under-17s camp in Leeds on October 23-24.
They are Will Haydon-Wood (Sedbergh School), Harry Hill (Sedbergh School) and Chidera Obonna (RGS Newcastle).
Four Newcastle Falcons players will then be involved in England Under-18s’ training camp, also in Leeds, between October 24-27.
The four are Rob Farrar (Sedbergh School), Josh Hodge (Sedbergh School), Cameron Kelemeti (Durham School) and Will Montgomery (Kirkbie Kendal School).
Training will take place at West Park Leeds and Kirkstall, with details of fixtures at both age groups to be announced in due course.
Falcons academy manager and first team skills coach Mark Laycock said: “It’s always nice to see our players recognised at England level, and this is the highest number of call-ups we’ve received for quite some time across the two age groups.”
