SEVEN MORE FANS #LOVE7S TO WIN TICKETS

Tuesday 29 July 2014 Written by: Adam

This Saturday the Premiership Rugby 7s series comes to the north when Newcastle Falcons take on Leicester Tigers, Sale Sharks and London Welsh in pool D of the competition, live at Darlington’s Northern Echo Arena.

Over the last week we’ve been asking you to tell us, via social media, why you #Love7s for your chance to win a pair of tickets to this Saturday’s event.

This week sees five of our winners come from Twitter and the remaining two from Facebook.

Facebook winners Richard Morrison and Andrew Graham had this to say about why they love the shortened form of the game:

– Richard Morrison: Inspiration and role models for the junior players at my club
– Andrew Graham: Fast and furious, adrenaline rugby

Meanwhile our Twitter winners for the week are:

– Cat Salt (@NuttySalt): Love rugby. Only seen 7s on TV, love it – fast and furious rugby, it’s 50 shades of rugby 😉
– Richard M Hammond (@theham2008): Because the backs can pretend to be forwards for a day, the fast forwards can be backs
– Richard Seymour (@richardseymour1): Fast, furious, massive hits and loads of tries, a true festival of non-stop rugby goodness!
– James Robertson (@JamesDR_96): Because the momentum can change between teams so easily and Falcons are rather good at it!
– Adrian Nichols: It’s the best of the game; speed, excitement, skill and a great way to introduce rugby to those yet to discover it

Our lucky winners will each receive a pair of tickets to Darlington on Saturday to watch six fast-paced games of 7s rugby as the four Premiership teams compete for their place in the series final.

Tickets for the northern round of the Premiership Rugby 7s are still available [online][1] or by calling the Falcons 24 hour Ticket Hotline on 0871 226 6060. Tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 for juniors. For information on travel to the Northern Echo Arena please click [here][2].
