SINOTI DELIGHTED TO STAY

The 28-year-old Samoa star, who has dazzled supporters with his explosive attacking antics since his switch to the North East last Christmas, is now pumped up for the season run-in.

“There is a super bunch of guys at Newcastle at the moment, and I’m enjoying my time up here,” said the fleet-footed flyer.

“Obviously it was disappointing not to have got the win that we really wanted at the weekend at home to Worcester Warriors, but the future is certainly bright for Newcastle and I can’t wait to get back out onto the field again,” added Sinoti.

The Aviva Premiership takes a break this weekend as the Heineken Cup and Amlin Challenge Cup take centre stage, before action resumes the following week with the Falcons travelling to London Irish.

Defeat against Worcester reduced the gap to nine points at the foot of the table, and whilst the men in black cut frustrated figures following the match, Sinoti’s display with ball in hand was one of the high points of the day.

After the match, Opta revealed that the former Toulon man has the best minutes/defender beaten rate of any Aviva Premiership player this term.

“I’ve just got to make sure that my performances are consistent as there is a lot of competition in the squad and places are up for grabs,” said Sinoti.

“My game is all about being direct and that is exactly the way I will be doing week in week out for the team,” he added.

Tickets are available for the Falcons’ next home Aviva Premiership game against Saracens on Sunday 20 April by calling the Ticket Hotline on 0871 226 6060 or [**click here**][1] to purchase online.
