SINOTI SINOTI COMMITS TO NEWCASTLE
The Samoan international, 28, made the switch to Newcastle last Christmas Eve until the end of the season and made his debut the following week at home to Sale Sharks in the Aviva Premiership.
Sustaining an ankle injury 10 minutes into February’s Aviva Premiership trip to Bath Rugby, Sinoti made his return to action against Worcester Warriors at the weekend.
“It’s been a frustrating start to my time at Newcastle with injury hampering my season, but it was great to be back in the starting line-up on Sunday,” said Sinoti.
“I’m now looking forward to helping my ‘brothers’ at Newcastle Falcons take the club to the next level,” he added.
Newcastle director of rugby Dean Richards said: “Sinoti is a quality player and brings a lot of power, aggression and go-forward to the table.
“He also has a lot of experience from his time in the French Top 14 and RaboDirect Pro12 which will complement our talented youngsters coming through,” added Richards.
Sinoti joins Gonzalo Tiesi, Scott MacLeod and Matt Thompson in pledging his future to the Falcons.
