Newcastle Falcons winger Ben Stevenson has received a two-game ban following the red card he picked up against Gloucester Rugby last month.

The case was heard by an independent panel chaired by Daniel Gore, sitting with Mitch Read and Tony Wheat.

Stevenson was shown a red card for tackling a player in the air, contrary to World Rugby Law 9.17, during a game against Gloucester Rugby on Friday May 16.

Stevenson admitted the charge and received a two-match ban.
