Summer Camps Conclude On A High

Saturday 29 August 2015 Written by: Adam

The Falcons Community Foundation this week concluded another fantastic summer of rugby coaching camps.

With several camps running throughout the summer, the Foundation reported great turnout, ending on a particular high with the club’s pre-season camp at Kingston Park Stadium.

But as the summer draws to a close and the new season dawns, the Foundation is pleased to announce dates for further camps running throughout the 2015/16 season.

The first will take place this October half term with two day camps available at Kingston Park Stadium, Carlisle, Houghton and Penrith RFC.

Then in February, camp will not only return to Kingston Park Stadium but also head to Westoe and Hartlepool RFC.

Come Easter the Falcons will once again host a camp at Kingston Park, with a specific girls’ camp taking place at the stadium later in the holiday.

Easter camps will also run at Darlington, Keswick, Tynedale and Percy Park RFC.

More dates will be added throughout the season so please watch this space for further information. However, with the North East’s biggest ever year of rugby about to begin these events are expected to be more popular than ever, so parents are advised to act quickly to confirm their young rugby stars’ places on any camps throughout the season.
