Over 70 aspiring rugby stars kicked off their school holidays last week at the first of the Falcons Community Foundation Summer Coaching camps.

The first camp of the summer saw U7 – U12 players enjoy three days of coaching at Kingston Park Stadium as part of an event that was well-received by youngsters, coaches and parents alike.

And this week the camps are back again, with an U13 – U16 event at Kingston Park as well as a separate coaching camp at Penrith RFC.

Next week will see the Falcons Community Foundation coaches head back to Barnard Castle School for their annual residential camp, a five day rugby coaching event which includes a range of additional activities. There are still a small number of very limited places available for next week’s event, with anyone interested in making a booking encouraged to contact the Falcons Community Foundation on 0191 214 2844.

Meanwhile the Community Foundation still have places available on their pre-season camp running from 26th – 28th August and on specialist backs (17-18th August) and forwards (20-21st August) camps all running at Kingston Park Stadium.
