Sunday – the day of rugby
The day gets underway at Kingston Park Stadium at 9.30am when 625 players from 53 local clubs form part of our Under-10s festival.
This tournament has grown by 14 teams from the same time last year, with the North East and Cumbrian rugby communities continuing to go from strength to strength.
Unbeaten Newcastle Falcons then take centre stage at 1pm when they host Ampthill in Greene King IPA Championship action, going for their 17th successive victory in all competitions.
Tickets for the Falcons game are available by [**clicking here**][1], calling 0871 226 6060 or from the ticket office in person. Book before game day to save £3 per ticket.
Attention then turns to the Six Nations as England start their campaign away to France in a 3pm kick-off.
The match will be shown on the TVs in the stadium bars, but for an extra-special experience you can get Dean Richards’ half-time and full-time analysis in the West Stand first floor.
