Sunday’s best for LV= Cup
Newcastle Falcons’ round three match against Sale Sharks in the LV= Cup will take place on Sunday February 1st 2015 with a 3pm kick off it has been confirmed today.
The match, which features on both the Falcons full and half season ticket packages will be the second time the two teams will face each other at Kingston Park this season, following this coming Sunday’s Aviva Premiership fixture which kicks off at 3:15pm.
Whilst the teams have met on numerous occasions, the last match between the pair in the LV= Cup was a resounding 37 – 7 home win for the Falcons back in January 2012.
The match against Sale rounds out the home games in the January cup window for the Falcons following the European Rugby Challenge Cup fixture against Newport Gwent Dragons and is one of only two home games in February, with the second being the highly anticipate clash v London Wasps on February 20th.
Tickets for these matches will go on sale from 09:00 on Wednesday 3rd December while half season tickets, which cover all these games and start from the Aviva Premiership fixture against Saracens on December 27th are on sale now.
