SUPPORTERS CLUB DONATION
We would like to extend a huge thank you to the Newcastle Falcons Supporters Club who presented a cheque to the falcons for £400 at the last home fixture against Connacht. The money will go towards the continued implementation of community programmes throughout the North East. The supporters club are now official community partners and Julie Bradley & Derek Dargue were on hand to present the cheque to Community Foundation Manager Melanie Magee.
Julia Bradley of the Supporters club stated “The Supporters Club are delighted to announce that monies raised this year will be donated to the Community Foundation who do the most excellent work in the local community. We will do our utmost to assist Melanie and her team throughout the remainder of the season – and would like to thank everyone involved in raising the money – from collectors of items to raffle to those that put their hands deep into their pockets and gave money! “
