Tait calls on team to take next step on Sunday
Club stalwart Tait was on the score sheet at Franklins Gardens last weekend as the Falcons secured a four try bonus point on their way to making it seven tries, in two games against top four opposition, with Tait wanting the team to take the next step this weekend and take another Aviva Premiership win.
The fullback said: “Happy with the style that we’re playing at the minute and the way it has progressed since last season and that we are more exciting to watch, we would rather have converted a couple of the closer games into wins but on the whole things are good.”
“It’s a massive game on Sunday, we’re at home, we’ve been playing some good rugby so we’re heading into the game with some expectation around us and we want to get a win and sign off this Premiership segment on a positive note. Welsh will be well up for the game and see it as a springboard to launch a fight-back from if they win, so we won’t be taking anything lightly and will be focused on the job in hand.”
