Team news: Falcons side for Biarritz trip

Thursday 13 January 2022 Written by: Adam

Mike Brown captains a side showing 11 changes from the one which started against Northampton on Saturday, with Pete Lucock and George Wacokecoke coming into the centres and Adam Radwan returning on the wing.

Brett and Connon and Sam Stuart form the half-back partnership, with the Falcons looking for their fifth successive away victory in EPCR Challenge Cup pool action.

Adam Brocklebank and Mark Tampin join Blamire in a freshened-up front row, with Rob Farrar coming in at lock in front of a back row which sees call-ups for Gary Graham, Connor Collett and Callum Chick.

Prop-forward Conrad Cade will make his first-team debut if he comes on from the bench, with the loose-head having spent much of the season at Championship side Doncaster Knights.

The Falcons have won their only EPCR Challenge Cup game this season, defeating Worcester Warriors 31-26 at home on December 10.

French side Toulon and Italian outfit Zebre complete the five-team pool, with the top three teams and one best runner-up progressing through to the round of 16.

Friday’s game is not being shown live on TV in the UK, but is available to stream via the EPCR website for €4.99 by [**clicking here**][1].
