South African rugby star Stefan Terblanche has become the latest player to confirm for the Falcons Legends game this October.

Former Natal Sharks star Terblanche appeared 37 times for his national side the Springboks and has gone on to become CEO of the South African Rugby Legends Association since retiring from the game in 2011.

Renowned as a prolific try-scoring Winger, Terblanche also enjoyed stints as a Centre and a Full Back during a career which saw him play for Natal Sharks before moving to Europe to sign for first Ospreys and later Ulster.

Having never appeared for the Falcons, Terblanche will represent the Southern Hemisphere XV during the Legends game, which will be played on Friday 2nd October at Kingston Park.

The game, held as part of the Falcons’ Rugby World Cup 2015 celebrations, will pit a team of former Falcons Legends against an all-time Southern Hemisphere XV.

With the game scheduled for the night before South Africa face Scotland at St James’ Park, Terblanche is sure to be a favourite with travelling Springboks fans who will be spending a weekend in the North East.

Tickets for the Legends game start at £10 for adults with all junior tickets costing £5, and are available to book now [online][1], in person from the Kingston Park Stadium Box Office or by calling the Falcons 24 hour Ticket Hotline on 0871 226 6060.
