The Big One – 10,000 tickets booked

Sunday 10 February 2019 Written by: Adam

With six weeks to go until The Big One ’19 at St James Park, ticket sales for the Gallagher Premiership Rugby clash with Sale Sharks have passed the 10,000 mark.

Tracking ahead of the 2018 edition, which saw a club record crowd of 30,178 pack into the St James’ Park home of Newcastle United, this year’s game is set to be bigger and better.

The 10,000 mark has been passed with one week still to go on the group booking deadline for the game, with orders from businesses, rugby clubs and schools set to propel the total higher still.

With sales continuing to accelerate, large swathes of the East and Milburn stands already booked and £10 tickets in the Leazes and Gallowgate paddocks also selling quickly, supporters are being urged to buy early to afford themselves the most choice on ticket location.

Group bookings are still being welcomed from those wishing to attend the game as a big day out, with all orders received by Friday February 15 guaranteed to be seated together and for tickets to be priced at £10 for adults and £5 for Under 16s.

Groups of 100 or more can also claim an exclusive supporter’s flag to show their support and add to the visual impact created by the crowd at the game.

Tickets can be bought online, over the phone and in person from both the Newcastle Falcons and Newcastle United box offices.
