The Big One – Ticketing FAQs

Ahead of the start of general ticket sales for The Big One this Friday, Newcastle Falcons have prepared answers to a series of frequently asked question about the fixture on March 24th 2018.

**Q: When do tickets go on sale?**

A: Tickets to The Big One go on general sale from 9:00 am on Friday 1 December via the Newcastle Falcons box office and from 10:00am via the Newcastle United box office .

**Q: What classes as an Adult, concession or Junior?**

A: Concession tickets are available to senior citizens aged over 65 years and full-time students. Juniors tickets are valid for people aged 15 or younger as of September 1 2017. Adult ticket prices apply to all other supporters.

**Q: What student ID do you accept?**

A: We accept an in-date student photo ID card. This must be presented at the turnstiles when entering the stadium.

**Q: How can I book tickets for The Big One; online?**

A: Both the Newcastle Falcons and Newcastle United box offices are selling tickets for the match. Supporters can book [**online here**][1] via the Newcastle Falcons ticket portal and [**online here**][2] via the Newcastle United ticket portal.

**Q: How can I book tickets for The Big One; by phone?**

A: Tickets can also be booked by calling 0871 226 6060 via the Newcastle Falcons box office or by calling 0844 372 1892 for the Newcastle United box office.

**Q: How can I book tickets for The Big One; in person?**

A: In person callers can book at the Kingston Park Stadium box office Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and 10:00am to 4:00pm Saturdays.

In person callers can book at the St James’ Park box office Monday to Friday 10:00am to 5:00pm and 9:00am to 4:00pm on Saturdays.

**Q: Does my Newcastle Falcons v Northampton Saints ticket also get me into the Northumbria University v Newcastle University game?**

A: Yes.

**Q: I am a university student, which stand should I book into for watching the Big Uni Clash?**

A: Northumbria University students wanting to sit as a group should book their tickets in the Leazes Stand. Newcastle University students should book their tickets in the Gallowgate Stand.

**Q: Which tickets make donations to the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.**

A: All category 2 tickets in the Milburn Stand will automatically generate a donation to the Foundation.

**Q: I’m a season ticket member, can I buy extra tickets for friends and family to sit next to me?**

A: Yes. Should you wish to sit next to other particular season ticket members, please submit your forms together and state your desire to sit together.

**Q: I am a season ticket member who wishes to sit in a stand other than the East Stand, can I do so?**

A: Yes, but any additional tickets you buy for the game will not be at the heavily discounted rate on offer in the East Stand.

**Q: Can I use my ‘Tight Five’ voucher as a season ticket holder for this game?**

A: No, but with adult ticket prices starting from just £10 you can still get five adults into the game for just £50.

**Q: I’m a Falcons season ticket member who selected the ‘voucher’ or ’ticket’ option as my compensation for the Saracens game being moved to Philadelphia. Can I use my credit or additional tickets for the St James’ Park game?**

A: Yes, please book through the Falcons ticket office.

**Q: Fans at football matches at St James’ Park can’t drink alcohol at their seats; will this be the same for the rugby?**

A: No, supporters will be allowed to drink at their seats, just as they are able to at Kingston Park Stadium. St James’ Park had similar plans in place for Magic Weekend and Rugby World Cup 2015, and in addition, there will be a fan plaza around the stadium with live music, food, drink and entertainment.

**Q: Will the stadium big screen show match action and replays as it does at Kingston Park Stadium?**

A: Yes.

**Q: How can I make a group booking?**

A: Group bookings can be coordinated through Newcastle Falcons group sales manager Hannah Sutheran. Please email hannah.sutheran@newcastle-falcons.co.uk

**Q: Can I bring my young child?**

A: For The Big One, children aged two and under can be admitted free of charge provided they sit on the parent or guardian’s knee. Matches are very busy events with large crowds and loud music so may not be suitable for very young children.

**Q: Is there a section for away fans to sit in?**

A: St James’ Park will not have a segregation policy in place for The Big One, with both Falcons and Saints fans able to sit together and enjoy the game.

There will be an allocation of tickets made available via the Northampton Saints for any away fans who would like to sit as part of a larger group.

**Q: I’ve bought a concession / junior ticket, can I upgrade it?**

A: As long as the ticket is not part of a package, it can be upgraded. Please call the box office that you purchased the ticket from to arrange.

**Q: I can no longer use my tickets, can I cancel them?**

A: Unfortunately as per the terms and conditions agreed to at the time of purchase, match tickets are non-refundable.

**Q: When will I receive my tickets?**

A: Match tickets to The Big One will be sent to supporters three weeks prior to the fixture.

**Q: I need to purchase Wheelchair / accessible seating. How do I do this?**

A: In order to provide supporters with the most knowledgeable advice regarding access and viewing positions, these sales are being coordinated through the Newcastle United Stadium Box Office. Please call 0844 372 1892
