Tigers tickets selling fast

Newcastle Falcons are urging supporters to act fast if they wish to attend the Aviva Premiership showdown with Leicester Tigers on March 8th with the club today announcing seats have sold out.

The game against Tigers is showing the strongest levels of pre sales of any game since the Falcons returned to English rugby’s top flight, with over 6,000 already purchased.

The club expect all seating accommodation to be fully booked by this coming Wednesday (Feb 25) and with strong numbers also already booked in the North and South Terrace, the game is currently on course to be the club’s first sell out fixture in seven years.

Falcons Head of Marketing Melanie Magee said “If sales track with the normal pattern in the build up to the game, we will be looking at our first 10,200 attendance since 2008 which shows that our supporters are responding to the improvements shown by the team this season.”

“While the majority of our supporters do buy their tickets in advance, there has been a regular number of around 1000 who pay on the day this season and we are making this announcement today to give plenty of warning that for Tigers, the availability of tickets on the day is likely to be very limited.”

“Tickets if bought in advance are also cheaper than on the day, so we would encourage our match day purchasers to take advantage of this offer and book early.”

Tickets for the game start from £15.00 for adults and £7.50 for under 16s and can be booked by [click here][1] calling 0871 226 6060 or by visiting the Kingston Park box office
