Train like a Pro this January
Newcastle Falcons are pleased to announce details of their successful Train Like a Pro camp, on 2nd January 2016. With the fantastic reception of last year, the falcons bring it back for 2015-16 season and it makes the perfect Christmas gift for the rugby mad fan.
Held at the Falcons’ Kingston Park Stadium, the camp aims to give young rugby fans and players an insight into the life of a professional player, alongside coaching from the Falcons Community Foundation coaches.
Working on a carousel of activities, participants will go session to session throughout the morning with on and off field activity, including talks on nutrition and specific coaching for backs and forwards.
Participants will also undertake a video analysis session similar to that the Falcons professional players go through in preparation for a game and have a strength and conditioning session Kingston Park tailored appropriately to their own specific age and needs.
Running from 10am until 2pm the camp will also include a visit from Newcastle Falcons players and match ticket to that afternoon’. The camp is open to girls and boys age 12-16 and costs just £60!
Falcons coaching events are always popular events and with places priced at £60, this Train Like a Pro event is expected to be no different so don’t miss out.
