TRAVEL TO BUCHAREST WITH OUR SUPPORTERS CLUB
Later this year the Falcons play Bucharest Wolves in the Amlin Challenge Cup, and our Supporters Club have now released details of their organised trip to see that game.
Join the Supporters Club for a two night trip to Bucharest leaving on Friday 11 October and returning on Sunday 13 October. Start your weekend socialising with fellow Falcons fans and taking in the sights of the city before heading to the Stadium Arcul de Triumf on Saturday to watch the Falcons take on Bucharest Wolves (ko 3pm).
Supporters Club membership secretary Margaret Smithurst said: “After a year away from European Rugby we’re excited to be planning our next European trip and are looking to take as many supporters as possible to the game with us.
“Our European away trips are legendary among Falcons fans as any regular traveller will tell you so if you’ve never been to an overseas match then what are you waiting for? This trip to Bucharest will be our first so come along and enjoy a great trip with some good friends new and old!”
The Supporters Club anticipate the cost of this trip to be approximately £400 per person, although this could go up or down depending on flight price. This cost will include flights, two nights’ hotel accommodation (based on two sharing) and transfers.
The Supporters Club will send out preferred flight times from Newcastle to all interested fans so that all supporters can travel together. Anyone who prefers to travel on different flights or from different airports throughout the country should still contact the Supporters Club so that arrangements can be made for you to stay in the same hotel as other travelling supporters.
