True North Origin fixture
The True North Origin fixture takes place on **Saturday, August 12**, kicking off at **11am**, with entry to the game **FREE*** for all supporters to enjoy.
To attend you will need a ticket which can be claimed by clicking **[HERE][1]**.
A facet of head coach Alex Codling’s pre-season training regime, the squad is embarking on a summer-long competition which sees the group divided into four ‘regions’ for a series of activities and challenges.
The four teams that fall under the True North umbrella are:
– Cumbria.
– Durham.
– Northumberland.
– Tyne & Wear.
Each of the four groups are made up of players from or born in that region and those who aren’t are randomly allocated to even things out.
For the True North Origin clash Northumberland and Tyne & Wear will form the **North** squad and a combination of Cumbria and Durham will make up the **South** squad.
In a battle for the ages, the North will take on the South in this fully competitive match-up with a lot on the line to play for.
Not only will the fixture be the first opportunity to see the class of 2023-24 in action, but there will also be a number of pre and post-match activities taking place, including the launch of Junior Falcons for the new campaign.
Following the conclusion of the fixture, not only will there be an opportunity to meet the players, there will be player and coach-led coaching sessions taking place on the main pitch (further details to be confirmed).
Car parking for the fixture is FREE on a first come first served basis and further match-day details will be announced in due course. Keep your eyes peeled across our website and socials for more updates.
