TyneMet awards evening at Friday Night Finale
At our final home game of the season, the TyneMet Rugby Excellence Programme celebrated the conclusion of its season with an awards ceremony before our clash with Bath Rugby, providing another great experience for the players.
The event highlighted the hard work and dedication of the students, who have honed their skills on and off the field.
This season has been filled with remarkable highlights for both the boys’ and girls’ teams.
The boys celebrated key victories, including triumphing over Queen Ethelburga’s, reaching the ECRFU cup quarter-final against Bishop Burton and enjoying a trip to Sale Sharks. The girls’ teams were equally impressive, remaining unbeaten at home and showing significant improvement against formidable opponents such as Bishop Burton and Loughborough College.
