Veterans’ 10s at Newcastle Festival of Rugby
Played in teams of 10 on a half-sized pitch, veterans’ teams are invited to take part in one of four tournaments being held at Kingston Park Stadium.
There will also be a men’s open 7s, men’s social 7s and women’s 7s on an action-packed day, with places still available for teams in all four tournaments.
As well as a full day of rugby there will be music, food and drinks promotions, with free entry for all supporters.
The men’s open 7s and women’s 7s double up as regional qualifiers for the national 24/Sevens event, which aims to continue to grow sevens rugby and increase participation among men and women.
