Head coach Alex Codling says his Newcastle Falcons side are ready to take the next step on Sunday when they host Exeter Chiefs in Gallagher Premiership action.

The 3pm kick-off sees the Falcons setting out in search of their first league win of the season, with plenty of positives on show last time out as they took a four-try bonus point away at table-topping Sale Sharks.
