Director of rugby, Steve Diamond shares his thoughts ahead of Newcastle Falcons’ pre-season friendly away to northern rivals, Sale Sharks.

Outlining what the fixture means in terms of the squads season preparations, Diamond also delves into what the lads have been up to including a camping trip to Penrith RUFC in Cumbria.

The pre-season clash is on Saturday September 7 and kicks off at 7pm.

General admission tickets are priced £20 for adults and £10 for under-18s by clicking HERE, with unreserved seating available in the Richard Trickey Family Stand on a first come, first served basis. Tickets also include entry into the 2pm kick-off between Sale Sharks Women and Loughbrough Lightning.
