VIDEO: Kibirige looks to Lyon
Winger Zach Kibirige makes a welcome return from injury in this evening’s European Rugby Challenge Cup match against Lyon and is hoping he and his team mates can build on a comprehensive win against FC Grenoble last time out.
Kibirige, who has been out since picking up a knock in Aviva A League action starts in the number 11 shirt and is expecting Lyon to provide tough opposition.
Speaking to Falcons TV, Kibirige said: “Lyon will be a similar challenge to what you expect from most French teams. They’ll be pretty direct and pretty physical and have the ability that if they are making inroads, to move the ball wide with a bit of flair.
“We know everyone in the group is a good side that we are going to come up against. We didn’t get the greatest start against Ospreys, but we’ve picked up momentum with a good win against Grenoble so hopefully, we can carry that on.”
