After taking a 13-18 win over Gloucester at Kingsholm last weekend Waldouck and his team mates are focused on achieving more success, but are aware of the threats posed by a determined Warriors outfit.

Speaking to Falcons TV he said: “It will be a big test, their side is littered with quality players, particularly in their back line where they have some potent attacking threats.

“Sixways isn’t an easy place to go and though its going to be tough, we need to kick on after our result last weekend. We need to show that wasn’t an anomaly that it was a reflection of where we are at as a team and getting a result at the weekend is key to that.”

Having arrived at Kingston Park on trial over the summer, the former Wasps, Northampton Saints and London Irish man has settled quickly, earning a full time contract and making an impact with his performances.

He is a player seemingly at ease in his new surroundings and pleased to be adding to his impressive tally of 111 Aviva Premiership Rugby appearances to date.

“I’m enjoying it. It’s been a great introduction back up here in Newcastle and I’m enjoying being part of this team and the club. I am feeling good in terms of my game and in playing in the Premiership again.”
