Wear your local club colours on Saturday
The Falcons have enjoyed huge support from within the grassroots game, with more than 190 junior teams playing in two separate festivals at Kingston Park on the morning of The Big One.
That includes the biggest ever Land Rover Cup tournament in Premiership history (under-11s and 12s), as well as the Falcons’ annual under-7s and 8s festival.
It is fantastic to see so many youngsters enjoying their rugby, and the Falcons are encouraging them to wear the kit of their local club to make St James’ Park as colourful as possible.
The Big One sees Newcastle Falcons playing Northampton Saints in the Aviva Premiership at 5.30pm, the game preceded at 3pm by a match between Newcastle University and Northumbria University.
