WHAT’S ON: UK Armed Forces v North of England Select

Kicking off at 15:00 on Saturday, June 24, here is everything you need to know ahead of the fixture:

**TICKETS**

Tickets are still available to purchase for the fixture and are available to book **[HERE][1]**. Contact our ticket office if you require more information.

Supporters are advised that tickets can be purchased on the gate.

**MATCH-DAY TRAVEL**

Stadium parking for the fixture is still on sale and can be purchased **[HERE][2]**.

Stagecoach will be running their usual X47 bus service, which picks up and drops off directly outside Kingston Park Stadium. Single tickets are available from £2 for adults and 60p for under-16s. Day passes are available at £4.50 for adults and £1.10 for under-16s. Find out more **[HERE][3]**.

Supporters are reminded that Metros will NOT be running on Saturday between Jesmond, Four Lane Ends and Airport due to improvement works. Replacement bus services will be running, find out more **[HERE][4]**.

**RETAIL & TICKET OFFICE**

Military v Cancer will have a retail outlet within the West Stand concourse, situated in the Wooden Spoon corner, towards the North end.

Newcastle Falcons will also have a retail unit open towards the centre of the concourse.

**PRE-MATCH ACTIVITIES**

Turnstiles will open for supporters at 1pm and entry to the concourse and stadium bowl will be through the South West gates.

At 1pm we’ll also be delighted to welcome the Lord Mayor of Newcastle to Kingston Park who will be raising the Armed Forces flag outside the stadium close to the East Stand car park.

The original WAGS choir from Catterick, who unfortunately can’t attend the fixture in person, have sent over a special video message ahead of the fixture – stay tuned and keep an eye out on our big screen at 1:30pm to hear what they had to say.

At approximately 2pm, supporters will be treated to an incredible sight. A 1930s Tiger Moth will be doing a flyover our East Stand car park. Make sure you’re pitch-side or in the West Stand to witness this fantastic spectacle.

Situated in both our East terrace (near the big screen) and North West corner, there will be a number of activations and simulators for all supporters to enjoy. Be sure to check them out prior to kick-off.

The Fusiliers Band will be performing throughout the stadium bowl, adding to what we know will be a fantastic atmosphere at Kingston Park.

Prior to kick-off and in true celebration of Armed Forces Day, the national anthem will be played with the Fusiliers Band performing ‘God Save the King’.

**FOOD & DRINK**

Match-day operations will take place in Kingston Park stadiums West Stand with food and drink available throughout.

Two food kiosks and the West Stand bar will be open for all supporters to enjoy. An ice cream van will also be in attendance within the stadium bowl.

**HOSPITALITY**

Supporters attending the fixture who have purchased hospitality should have received their itinerary for the evening prior to the fixture.

Please head to the West Stand reception ahead of kick-off and a member of our fantastic team will be on hand to direct you to your seat.

**KICK-OFF**

The UK Armed Forces XV take on a North of England Select XV in the Military v Cancer fundraiser, with kick-off set for 3pm.

**HALF-TIME**

A usual spectacle at a Falcons fixture, adopted for our game today we bring you the Falcons Flyer, that will be taking place at half-time.

A lucky individual picked from the crowd will have go head-to-head with a Falcons player in a virtual race across the pitch.

There will also be a Under-8s Youth Competition taking place with teams from Horden & Peterlee RFC, Blaydon RFC and Ashington RFC all taking part. Be sure to give them an extra cheer when they kick-off at half-time.

**POST-MATCH ACTIVITIES**

Following the final whistle, a trophy presentation will take place on the pitch for the winning team with commemorative coins also being handed out.

The celebrations don’t stop after the final whistle, from 5:15pm the West Stand concourse will become your stage with a DJ and Karaoke taking place. Be sure to stick around and sing a song or two in celebration of a great day fundraising for the fantastic Military v Cancer charity.
