England’s next assignment comes on Saturday October 5 when they meet Argentina in Tokyo, a game which kicks off at 9am UK time.

Newcastle’s Greg Peterson played the final 28 minutes for the USA in their loss to Wilson’s England, the lock-forward having signed from Bordeaux-Begles for the coming season. The Eagles now move on to Fukuoka, where they meet France on Wednesday in an 8.45am UK-time kick-off.

Falcons scrum-half Sonatane Takulua starts for Tonga on Saturday when they meet Argentina, club-mate Cooper Vuna named on the Tongan bench for the 5.45am UK-time kick-off in Osaka.

Falcons star Josh Matavesi started at fly-half for Fiji on Wednesday, playing the full 80 minutes and kicking a conversion in their 30-27 loss to Uruguay. Fiji are next in action on Thursday October 3 when they meet Georgia in a 6.15am UK-time kick-off.

Newcastle prop Logovi’i Mulipola started at loose-head for Samoa in Tuesday’s 34-9 victory over Russia, being replaced just before the hour mark. Samoa’s next assignment sees them up against Scotland in Kobe on Monday, with the 11.15am UK-time kick-off being shown live in the Tap & Tackle at Kingston Park Stadium.
