WIN a place on Falcons half term camps
As the Falcons Community Foundation look ahead to another round of their popular coaching camps this February, the club is offering younger fans the opportunity to win a free place at one of these events.
Running throughout the February half term holidays and open to rugby fans aged between six and 16, camps offer intensive coaching to the aspiring rugby stars of the future to help them develop their skills and fitness.
Run by their team of DBS cleared coaches, Falcons Community Foundation are delivering five two day camps at Carlisle, Kingston Park, Guisborough RFC, Berwick RFC and Whitley Bay Rockcliffe throughout the half term week.
And by keeping an eye on the club’s official Twitter account you can win a place on one of these camps every day for the next week.
In addition to the training sessions, the camps, which are open to children of all abilities from ages 6-16 will feature a number of rugby related games, reinforcing the fun element of sport. While visits from member of the Falcons playing squad and coaches will also serve to inspire the budding rugby players of the future.
While the format and quality of coaching is replicated across all five camps, those booking onto the Kingston Park sessions will, subject to availability, be able to enjoy the chance to train on the main pitch at the stadium.
Every participant will also receive a free ticket to the Falcons v Wasps Aviva Premiership match on February 20th and will also be given the opportunity to form part of the guard of honour that lines their field prior to kick off at this match.
