Second-row Witty, 18, who played in all five of the Falcons’ Aviva A League games this campaign, has recently joined the senior academy after impressing the Kingston Park hierarchy.

And the Newcastle University student has a bright future ahead of him according to academy manager Mark Laycock.

“Will is a hard working individual, who is always looking to learn in every training session,” Laycock said of the Yorkshire-born prodigy.

“He’ll only continue to get better whilst at Newcastle Falcons, and if he keeps his head down he can go all the way,” added Laycock.

The Falcons senior outfit lock horns with Harlequins this Sunday in the Aviva Premiership with tickets still available by calling 0871 226 6060 or [click here][1] to purchase online.
