Bede Sixth Form College to host Talent ID camp

Thursday 29 May 2025 Written by: Tom Grisedale

The Bede Institute of Sport and Education is hosting a Talent Identification Camp on Sunday June 1, aimed at Year 11 students with ambitions to combine academic study with high-level rugby development.

Taking place at Billingham Rugby Club, the camp runs from 1pm to 5pm and provides an opportunity for aspiring players to showcase their potential through performance testing, skills assessments and gameplay sessions. It forms part of the recruitment process for Bede’s newly launched ACE Rugby programme, delivered in partnership with Newcastle Falcons.

Bede Sixth Form College offers a range of academic options, including A-Level and full-time vocational courses such as Sport Science, Sports Coaching, Uniformed Services and Policing. These programmes are designed to run alongside elite rugby training, giving young players the chance to progress both on and off the field.

Parents and guardians are also welcome to attend, with the opportunity to learn more about the ACE programme and the educational pathways available at Bede Sixth Form College.
