BIG NIGHT OOT – BUCS match forms on field double header
The rugby side of Newcastle Falcons’ Big Night Oot on November 18th has doubled in size with top university rugby making it a double header of matches at Kingston Park stadium on the day.
Ahead of the Aviva Premiership Rugby game between the Falcons and Exeter Chiefs, Team Northumbria will take on Hartpury College in the BUCS Super Rugby competition, as the home side look to kick start their season.
Kicking off at 16:45 and under the tutelage of former Falcons prop Darren Fearn, Team Northumbria will be looking to build on the excellent form shown against Loughborough University in their last outing at Kingston Park and take four valuable league points from the match.
Hartpury however will provide stern opponents having won all three of their matches to day and currently sitting joint top of the league alongside Loughborough and the University of Bath.
Tickets for Falcons v Exeter also grant entry to the BUCS fixture, with Team Northumbria hoping that they too will enjoy vocal backing from a bumper crowd.
