Book now for places on February half term camps
It may be early days into the new school term, but the Falcons Community Foundation are already casting an eye towards February when half terms coaching camps will be back at venues around the North East and Cumbria.
Open to boys and girls aged from six to 16, Kendal RFC and Stockton RFC will join Kingston Park in hosting sessions, which will run from 10am to 3pm and will include a range of rugby skills, activities, and games.
Kendal will kick off the week with a two-day camp taking place on February 12 & 13, while the Kingston Park sessions will be from February 13 – 14. Stockton will then complete the half term delivery from February 15 – 16.
For those attending the camp at Kingston Park, there will again be the option for an early drop off from 8am, with a healthy breakfast and fun activities provided ahead of the main camp sessions.
All activity will be based on the CARDS coaching philosophy adopted by the Newcastle Falcons academy which aims to promote creativity, awareness, resilience, decision making, and self-organisation.
Participants will work within their age groups as much as possible and all levels of ability are welcome.
Over each day, attendees will receive five hours of coaching from DBS cleared, RFU qualified Falcons Community Foundation coaches, a Newcastle Falcons Coaching Camp T-shirt as a memento of their day, a visit from a Newcastle Falcons player and five Falcons dollars.
These can be redeemed at the Falcons shop or the ticket office up to the value of £5 or can be saved up to purchase a Newcastle Falcons replica shirt or another item out of the club shop.
Places are priced at £40 per person for the camps at Kendal or Stockton and £50 for the camps at Kingston Park.
